...more than Nessa, lately. (Just teasing you, sweetie!)
What I really intended to say: I received a present from a friend yesterday. Essential Jesus by John Crossan. This is a beautiful book - I'm truly enjoying it so far, and recommend for all who enjoy looking outside our traditional bibles for truths about Jesus, the man, the Jewish peasant from Galilee.
...a very sweet thank you note in the mail yesterday from my SIL. she had her baby shower last weekend and we went a little nutty on the new baby gift giving. hehe.
... a lap full of steaming hot spit up from my darling daughter. just now. ewwwwwww. she's been doing it, as well as pooping her brains out, all day. confession:i had taco bell for dinner last night. apparently it was for the last time for a good long while...
when i was in college (after I figured out the system, aka my sophomore year) I was down to the 5 meals a week plan. i normally ate lunch in the dorm so that worked out swell. That saved me an assload of money. i had a fridge and a microwave and a grocery store down the street. i was set. :)
unfortunately, nessa, my school has this contract with the food provider that says anyone in the dorm must buy at least 175 meals, which works out to roughly 2/day. I was only able to get a waiver because of a medical condition, they even make vegetarians and vegans eat over there. they just prepare different horrible food.

ReplyDeleteYes, senseless. When you were born.
ReplyDeletemy meal plan waiver... yay.
ReplyDeleteWhat's a meal plan waiver?
ReplyDeleteit means I don't have to eat the food in the cafeteria, since it makes me sick. Otherwise I would have had to pay $1200 for food that I cannot eat.
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned this before, but I must not have understood. That's RIDICULOUS!
