...year, my family on my dad's side gets together to go camping, and this weekend is that time of year. I love my family dearly, but they are the most judgmental people to walk the earth. That and they like to drink. The entire weekend will consist of sitting around the fire, pouring mudslides or drinking a beer, and discussing whichever other family member is not at the fire. Yee haw.
blue moon I get the insane notion in my head that if I try hard enough I'll actually be able to draw. Luckily that is quickly squashed when I actually try.
No worries. This past Christmas I received several days of surprise gifts, and one day it was acrylic paints, a set of professional brushes, and a 10-page pad of canvas paper. I was IN HEAVEN. I still haven't completed my first work of art, but I'm working on it.
week i get the urge to CLEAN. today L was *entralled* by the Boohbahs on PBS (my new favorite station) and I actually got to act on my urge. You should see my sparkling kitchen. :) :)

Nessa, you have joined the ranks. The mother of a newborn-thru-three-year-old is obvious in her love of PBS and ability to name the newest toddler television stars. Enjoy, and when Boohbahs comes to town, buy the tickets and take Lily to the show - you'll never forget or regret it.
H - I knew this day would come. My little brothers watched all the PBS kids shows (therefore I did, too). I just didn't think a 3mo old would be interested in TV yet. However, she loves her baby Einstein DVDs so why wouldn't she love Boohbahs? I'm starting to wish Tellitubbies were still on. They seem like they'd be right up her ally. ;)
