... to myself and my own ideals. For if I pledged allegaince to anything else and they went against my own beliefs then I wouldn't be true to myself.
Phoenix, I was just going to post something similiar, but you beat me to it and said it so eloquently that I'll just give you a big ol' WORD!
I seem to attract people who'll only pledge allegiance to themselves. Freethinkers. I like that.

Personally, I pledge allegiance to awareness, truth, humanity, and love.
