A) Liar is out of the office - something to do with his father. I don't have the scoop, but I do know it's very serious.
B) My uncle is undergoing surgery to insert an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD). He suffered one heart attack about five years ago, and although he's done well since, recently it's been discovered he has a progressive heart disease. The ICD should slow the progression, but I'm coping with supporting my aunt emotionally while she deals with the mortality of her husband and best friend.
