am I ever going to find the time to wash my hair? Let alone finish all the half-completed chores around the house... Q, were your babies clingy like mine is? I can't put her down for more than 30 seconds or it's hysterical crying that takes over a half an hour to calm. She's 6wks on Saturday, so I'm hoping this 'phase' starts to go away soon. OY!

Ness, I have mixed feelings on this one. I allowed my children to cry. But there are several people whom I respect who did not let their children cry. I think you create clingy babies when you respond to every peep. One thing that might help you to remember: children do not have the purpose and intention we think they have until they are in school. Before school, it's a lot of them just reacting and learning what gets them what they want - but not because they're greedy, selfish, etc. Just because that's their instinct. So don't take too much personally. Read books to understand and grasp which stage she's in. You'll be great!
